Llewelyn started his career after completing his studies in Civil Engineering in South Africa. He worked for Consulting Engineers and construction companies until he changed his career to the commercial world. He was part of a multi-billion ZAR group as Managing Director for one of the group companies. After leaving the corporate world in 2012, he followed his business passion as an entrepreneur, establishing new companies and making acquisitions. He currently manages a group of seven companies and holds shares in several of them. Ruth has always had a strong interest in the business and is a director in several of their companies.
Mulder Property Conversion is a family-owned business led by Llewelyn and his wife Ruth, who share a passion for property transformation, particularly through repurposing. Their journey began in South Africa, where they purchased and renovated six residential properties, transforming them into spacious, upmarket homes. This success led to a larger project with their first new-build detached property.
After relocating to the UK, they continued building their business while commuting between South Africa and the UK. In November 2022, they purchased an apartment in a manor house and took on a full refurbishment of both the apartment and the rundown manor itself, resulting in a major success. Inspired by this, they set a vision to repurpose commercial and industrial buildings in the UK into high-quality residential apartments, creating excellent living spaces for individuals and families.
